Don't blame yourself.
Intelligence has so many forms, that it's virtually impossible to test it. In a way, when people discuss about that, they don't try to define “intelligence” (as the idea you have in your mind about that topic), but they work on defining the word itself! “Intelligence” is just that, a word.
So, stop assuming you “are” either intelligent or not intelligent, in both cases it would be wrong. You are what you are, and if you follow the rules for a good life, everything will work for you: don't TRY to! Just be yourself, go and do what pleases you, and you will be good at it.
