If we approach the speed of light, time slows down. Aren't we actually catching up to the speed of time? Wouldn't the speed of time and light be the same?

Exactly. But it really can’t be put in those terms.

Because a speed is a position derived into time, as an acceleration is a speed derived into time. So what would be a “speed of time”, a scientist would ask? You can’t derive something into itself.

So, what is time? It’s a computing speed in the universe, it’s the speed at which things communicate states.
