Have you ever experienced something twice in your life, dejavu?

User

Sure, of course, many times.

In the brain, we have two structures: what we can call the left brain, and the right brain. Of course they work together but of course also they are dedicated to different functions, and have a different general organization.

The left brain is more into computing “vertically” like a CPU (in sequences), and the right brain is more into computing “horizontally” like a GPU (in parallel).

Which leads to consciousness being located more on the left, and intuition being located more on the right.

It's consciousness (left brain) who is responsible for storing the past and knowing time, and intuition (right brain) who is responsible for modeling the world and therefore anticipating the future, aka “foreseeing” the future some people would say.

Foreseeing doesn't mean that it will happen, but it does mean that if nothing is done (to change the movie), then the movie leads to that vision. Why?

Because we anticipated it. Because we are clever. Because time doesn't flow like we expect, we can move into it: like in a river into the stream of water, we still can swim towards the side. Yet, we can't stop moving towards “the future” because it's where all the water is going.

Time in this analogy would be the river, the vertical flow, and free will in this analogy would be swimming perpendicular to it, so it's an horizontal movement.

But of course moving perpendicular to the flow of water/time would never suppress the vertical flow itself, so that you would end up moving in diagonal, just like the speed of light in the universe is a constant distance divided by time, so it's also a diagonal. Nothing can move “only” into space, any action or movement is always paid with time.

So what it is like to take a side step into the flow of time? Well it happens simply when you give up planning, when you make an act of creativity, an unprepared undecided act. And how can you see that you did it, that you achieved such a change of the course of destiny? Well you can't know, you can only feel it, and in fact it's exactly what a feeling is…

Changing the movie of your life is an act “of the soul" some people would say, an act “of God” some other people would say, an act of spontaneity, an act of creativity, a true act not an automated act, an act that doesn't find a cause in the past, therefore that act can only find a cause in the future.

When you live such a life, you're “blown out” (it's called “Nirvana”), and it feels that time is “upside-down”, and déjà-vu is the normal way of interacting with the world.

If you don't experience déjà-vu then you're a half human being, a sliced human being divided into two parts and you look only at one of the slices: the past. Therefore you're moving through time by walking backwards, like a shrimp, and you're “shrimping”© your life.
