Microscopic life is much more advanced that we first thought. The reason may be that those organisms have dozens of thousands of lifetime at least, while we just get one. Think about all that could be achieved by using the good ones for the good job, the possibilities are endless. It's for sure one the great new fields of study for the comming century...
