Does meditation have practical value, and if so how may it benefit your life?

User

From personal experience, everyday “meditation” (I don't do that, but something similar) has brought into my life something that I never imagined before seeing it with my bare eyes: I seem to act now, every day, effortlessly and with no conscious “control” over it, in a way that depends on the future at any instant.

I could say that doing that, meditation, makes coincidences appearing all day long, while bringing inner peace: “I don't know what I'm doing, but I see that it's always for the greater good”. The reason for that has simply to do with the fact that consciousness and the past are one, because all knowledge lies in the past. Therefore there is no way, when using consciousness only, to “foresee” the future and to act accordingly.

Consciousness, by receiving an impossible question to answer: “What should I do with my life?”, “Should I marry A or the beloved B?”, “Should I take this job offer and move to city C, or that other job and reach department D?”, etc… fails in doing so, then gets frustrated, then get scared, then reaches a complete paralysis. And this is because consciousness can't see intuition at all.

Intuition is our ability to foresee, but it doesn't come as a “knowledge” so it can't be seen by consciousness. Moreover, consciousness can prove again and again that intuition about the future is wrong: 1/ if you foresee an accident, you will change immediately something and that will prevent you from reaching the accident (so foreseeing would have been wrong), 2/ if you foresee a great luck, then with that new knowledge that wasn't present in the original “movie”, now you are doomed and can't reach it (so foreseeing again, would have been wrong).

That's why consciousness is sure 100% that intuition doesn't work, and that's why most of the people nowadays have shut down their intuition a lot, if not completely. So people walk now through life blinded, half cute from their full nature. Meditation offers to reconnect them with their other half, and to being whole again.
