What's more important in a computer: CPU or GPU? Why?
You see, it all depends on what you need to do. CPUs do “vertical” linear computings, so when you need to do that, you need a good CPU. GPUs do “horizontal” parallel computings, so when you need to do that, you need a good GPU.
Usually CPUs are used to procees softwares status, data and other related stuff, and GPUs are used for rendering graphics and for computing science simulations or blockchains. But we could as well do everything the other way around, the only thing is that it would be horribly slow.
So: linear computations work well on a linear computing device, aka a CPU, and parallel computations work well on a parallel computing device, aka a GPU.

So, back to the answer: you have to understand what intelligence is and what intuition is. Everybody seems to have his own definitions, as both are very difficult subjects to work with. I'll go with mines:
1/ intelligence is the capacity to face a new problem of logic. Facing means here to create the problem (in the mind), to manipulate it (change the problem shape with rules of logic), and to solve it (find a path in a n^th dimensional world)
2/ intuition is the capacity to evaluate many different possibilities. Evaluate means here to create a representation of a physical world, to run it (with the rules of physics) in all the possible scenarios, and to project a future most likely final state

And consciousness is an intelligence feature, that's why intuition which runs in parallel, always seems to be a mystery for consciousness who can't explain it. But both features are features of the brain, so all that is you. And of course, you wouldn't be able to function without one or the other, you need both.
Just like you wouldn't be able to move without muscles (if you were just bones), but if you were only muscles with no bones it wouldn't work as well. So, what is more important: muscles or bones?
Well, you see, their is a proportion between the two and if this proportion is broken in favor of the muscles, then you would break your bones! And in favor of your bones? Well, you wouldn't like that either, being incapacitated to defend yourself.

And so is the proportion of intelligence and intuition. You need to find the good balance, and anyone with much of one or the other will become a threat to society or to himself. Too much intelligence is well known for creating self-centered egoistic maniacs, and too much intuition is well known for creating gurus, clairvoyants, mediums and things like that. So health is in between.
